Situated at the rim of the Laguna de Apoyo crater, our intimate luxury hotel in Nicaragua offers a boutique experience. Each of our 26 rooms has stunning views over the jungle canopy to the crater lake, with Granada and Lake Nicaragua just visible in the distance. Our lodge and guest rooms feature furniture, art and decor created by local artists and artisans, blending a distinctly local feel with the lodge’s warm, contemporary design.

King Room

Pacaya Lodge and Spa is a luxury hotel in Nicaragua that features eight casitas, each with two king rooms. The furniture, fixtures, and art in each casita have been carefully sourced from local artisans. Every king room offers en suite bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fans, private balcony, a hammock, and stunning view of the crater lake.  Roll-away beds are available to accommodate families with children. First floor or second floor king rooms available.

Double Room

Double rooms are located in our main lodge building and feature two double beds. The furniture, fixtures, and art in each double room have been carefully sourced from local artisans. Each room offer a spacious en suite bathroom and a private balcony with spectacular views of the crater lake.

Junior Suite

Located in our main lodge, our two junior suites feature a spacious living room and bathroom, with a separate bedroom in a loft located on the second floor. The furniture, fixtures, and art in each casita are carefully sourced from local artisans. Junior suites can accommodate additional guests in a comfortable pull-out couch. Each suite has a private balcony with lake view.

Pacaya Suite

Nestled into the woods at the rim of the Laguna de Apoyo crater, our signature suite offers the ultimate luxury for couples or families. Suites are uniquely and tastefully decorated with local art and feature local teak detailing. Suite features include a king-sized bed, a separate living room with pull-out couch, and relaxing hammock. Our Pacaya suite features the lodge’s most impressive view of the crater lake.

King Deluxe Room

Pacaya Lodge and Spa features eight casitas, each with two king rooms. The furniture, fixtures, and art in each casita have been carefully sourced from local artisans.
