Pacaya Lodge & Spa is the choice luxury Nicaragua resort for lone travelers and families alike. Surrounded by nature and local handicrafts, you’re bound to enjoy your stay at our boutique resort. But don’t just take it from us! Here’s what our guests are saying about Pacaya Lodge & Spa:

“We decided on Pacaya Lodge based on the reviews on Google; this place is more than we expected. We love the ecological ambience of the lodge (solar panels, wooden doors and balconies with trees and plants surroundings. You can hear the monkeys too!) The rooms are very clean & comfortable, the food is great and the scenic views are beyond words. Most of all, the staff is extremely professional, courteous and happy to assist you.” —Maria V. “An absolute must do if you are ever in Nicaragua! The service at Pacaya is comparable to the Ritz Carolton, but actually affordable. The food, atmosphere, and drinks are authentically Nicaraguan (and fantastic!). To top it all off it’s great to know that you are staying somewhere that is investing into the future of Nicaragua and changing the lives of so many. I would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience!”–Luke K. (5/10/2016)
“My family and I had a fabulous vacation touring my country of Nicaragua. Our fist stop was in Pacaya Resort and Spa and we didn’t want to leave!! The resort is beautiful and beautifully located on the edge of a volcano crater. The accommodation was a little cottage overlooking the volcanoes crater that is known as Laguna de apoyo…The room was phenomenal!! It has a separate living room and bedroom, a huge shower and bathroom and a balcony furnished with a hammock strategically placed for the view and a small breakfast table! The service was amazing and it is truly a 5 star resort!! We will definitely be back soon.” —Adriana G. (8/11/2016)

“Pure luxury. We spent the evening in the jacuzzi and infinity pool, drinking champagne and enjoying a spectacular view. Food was great and beautifully prepared (though the wait time was a bit long during lunch- not sure why.)  A unique element of note- breakfast is brought to you in picnic baskets, where you’ll find coffee, fruits, and an assortment of breads.  It’s worth mentioning that some of the staff at Pacaya are students that are being trained in hospitality via an entrepreneurship school and they are doing fieldwork at Pacaya, which is a fantastic opportunity to empower local youth and provide top notch training.” —Lucy J. (5/1/2016)

“The Room: Amazing view of the crater lake, nice outdoor sitting area with hammock. Inside nice tile floors, premium bed, great a/c, comfortable sitting area, 5 star bathroom with tile water fall style shower with reliable solar hot water. From our balcony we saw howler monkeys, Capuchin monkeys, flocks of parakeets and more! The room had wifi access that had reasonable bandwidth for Nicaragua (the highest speeds avail range 5mb-10mb range…low by foreign standards I know..) The only thing that might improve the room would be a mini-frig to keep cold water etc in-room or snacks.” —Dustin H. (4/27/2016)

“This place has my heart! Our family of four just got home from a visit to Pacaya Lodge & Spa. It is truly a special place we were not eager to leave. From our well-appointed and comfortable room, featuring beautiful artisan-crafted furniture and décor…to the spectacular and truly unique panoramic views of a volcano, crater, lakes and the storied Granada skyline…to the culinary delights using locally- sourced, organic produce and a unique twist on local Nica dishes, we were not disappointed!” —Alison G. “Brand new, eco-friendly luxury hotel with amazing views over a natural crater lake. Cool breezes offset the warm sun. Rain showers with plentiful solar-heated hot water and every room with a balcony overlooking the infinity pool and lake. Excellent service and attention from the staff. Couldn’t imagine a nicer resort in Nicaragua.”–Frankly B. (2/26/2016)
